For a special summer event, we have set up an 'extra' tasting event in the calendar. Experience wine tasting on the rooftop of the theatre on your first night, taste wines from 4 specially selected winemakers who are stars in the region over the course of the weekend.
You will get to:
- Visit 4 top, local and innovative vineyards;
- Stay in an ensuite double bedroom at the beautiful La Maison Trumeau in the heart of historic town of Saumur;
- Breakfast and lunch will be served at La Maison Trumeau every day
- Attend a special wine tasting event with us on the rooftop of the Theatre Dome
- A 4 course evening meal at la Maison Trumeau on Friday including a blind tasting of local wines as an introduction to the different styles of wine you experience on the retreat
- Attend the Saturday food market in Saumur, a highlight for many visitors and locals alike, and sample some of the regions best local produce
- Evening meals on Thursday and Saturday night in 2 of Saumur's best restaurants.
