Our retreats are relaxed and flexible. The vineyards we visit are accessible, and there’s always plenty of time to rest and take things at your own pace. We will provide transport to and from the vineyards so you have more freedom to enjoy your tastings.
5. What if I don’t get along with others in the group?
We’ve got you covered! Our home offers plenty of spaces to relax privately, and guests often tell us how much they enjoy the friendly and welcoming atmosphere.
6. I like my downtime—will I get any?
Of course! We include free time in the itinerary so you can explore Saumur, relax in our garden oasis, or simply enjoy a quiet moment to yourself.
7. What happens if I need to cancel?

8. I don’t speak French—will that be a problem?
Not at all! We speak English and French and can help you with any translations you need. You'll find that most of the vineyards and restaurant speak good English and are friendly and courteous to make you feel welcome and at ease.
9. Can you handle dietary preferences?
Yes, we can support most dietary preferences such as gluten-free and vegetarian preferences. In order to offer our guests a French Gourmet experience, our home cooked foods will include dairy, eggs and cheese, so we may not be able to cater for except lactose intolerance. The best thing to do is to contact Mandy, using the form below and let us know your needs in advance, and we’ll make sure your meals are tailored to suit you.
10. What if the weather isn’t great?
Rain or shine, you’ll still have an amazing time! Thankfully all tastings are indoors, there's no better place to be when it's raining! We plan indoor options for our lunches if the weather is not in our favour for alfresco dining. Our dining room has a beautiful ambience which will keep the experience wonderful no matter the weather.
11. I don’t know much about Loire Valley wines—will I still enjoy it?
Absolutely! Most of our guests start with little knowledge and leave with a deeper appreciation for this incredible wine region. You’ll love exploring and discovering new favourites.
